I feel very fortunate to have been born in the beautiful county of Kent.
In my hometown of Folkestone, around every corner there is an interesting backdrop or inspiration for photography and art to be found. I love to create images that spark the imagination, that ooze emotion, a little drama and feeling of all the senses.
Zooming in on my life. I am big on family and the mother of two beautiful girls and three cats that have always been happy to be my models.
Negatives to positives I learnt the basics working in various photographic labs developing negatives and printing from other peoples films. Quickly learning that its more about the eye of the photographer rather than the quality of camera. These days everybody is a photographer with the technology to edit and filter. I believe it still takes the skill of perfect timing, positioning, creative vision and an ability to predict and see things others just don’t see to make a picture stand out above the rest. Constantly practicing and experimenting keeps my passion for photography alive and fresh.
